New Song Release: Day of Dark Shadows

A Song About Evil
Announcing the release of my new song composition, the haunting music titled Day of Dark Shadows.

This song had been gathering some cobwebs down at the old mausoleum and I thought it time to revive it and re-record, remix and master it. In the vein of Barnabas Collins favorite Gothic Horror soap opera "Dark Shadows", yet new and it has nothing to do with Dark Shadows except for the fact that the song and many of my compositions are the result of the inspiration I receive from composer Robert Cobert.

I have more background on this song here :Songs About Evil.

It's pretty scarey, not campy but meant to instill fear. I don't write songs to glorify evil - sorry. However, if you want to learn more about my reason, then click the link Song about evil.

You can also listen to the song here:

This song is also the premier song of my new music division:

Working Like A Dog Recording Mixing Mastering Songs

Here's me when I need to take a breather
Hey y'all. Haven't been blogging much since Christmastime as I have been busy as a bee.
What the heck have I been doing? Well, funny you should ask.

I've been recording, re-recording, remixing and mastering MUSIC. Duh!! What else? And it takes take when you don't have the million dollar budget that the tennie boppers have who are on the radio with their over-compressed, non-musical quality songs that drive me batty.

It seems I have more work to do and less time to do it in so occasionally I post something to keep you updated. One update I like to mention is that I just released a new horror song. You can read about it and hear it here.

On my Fire of Love CD, the song "Heavy Metal Harley" was created with the biker in mind. It's simply a song for bikers to ride and dance to. Many people did not understand it - they are not bikers. Those that loved it know exactly what I'm talking about. Well, for those of you who want a pop-version and not so much into the "Harley" aspect of it, your prayers have been answered.

It should be finished soon and you'll be hearing it on the radio if you're in LA. I'll also post an edited version of it on the Songs About blog.  Other rock recordings will be posted temporarily or offered as a limited time free download on that blog.

And I have more horror music in store for you as well.

If you have any comments or questions, please be sure to contact me.
